The group of contacts manages most of the external records linked with contacts:

  • Persons (subject of stored data) can control information about themself
  • Persons can opt-in and opt-out their preferences. Their settings is automatically updates
  • Persons can request forgetting

Group of contacts is the cornerstone of the GDPR-related settings because they organise persons' preferences.

Communication groups

Groups could be marked as public. Public groups:

  • Persons that in stored in public contact group could take themself out using the GDPR contact portal
  • Each public group should have public name and description. That is publish to the public audience on the GDPR portal.
  • Persons can opt-in and opt-out from group. They are automatically inserted / removed. However, it does not change contact storage in an address book.
